Who We Are
The North Down Federation of Practices C.I.C. is a public health body focused on General Practice. As a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), we are led by dedicated General Practitioners committed to improving community health and well-being. Our Board of Directors includes representatives from each member practice and other healthcare professionals working together to deliver various medical services.
Federation Membership
Our Federation is a collaboration of local GP practices dedicated to delivering high-quality care. Each practice nominates a GP to represent them, ensuring every practice has a voice in our decision-making process. These representatives form our Board of Directors, guiding our strategic direction and operations. Board Members are elected or confirmed during our Annual General Meeting, a transparent process that ensures democratic governance and continuous engagement.
Our practices uphold our integrated, patient-centred care principles, enhancing healthcare quality and accessibility across the Lisburn community. We maintain high medical standards, embrace innovation, and continually improve patient outcomes.
